BOUND FOR MARKET

De-cluttering is always on my to do list, but most of the time I never quite get there. 

The wagon bound for market represents the decades of things we hang on to, always optimistic that sometime in the future we will up-cycle these objects. Among the clutter, a cow is nestled in the cart—a subtle yet poignant detail. It introduces a touch of melancholy, reminiscent of the quiet sadness that comes from glimpsing a truckload of animals on their final journey to market. It’s a layered metaphor: the burden of our belongings, the sentimentality we attach to them, and the bittersweet truth that even the things we treasure most may be on their way to a destination we didn't quite intend.
