This work is the third in a series celebrating the charm and character of unique architecture found in Australian country towns and regional landscapes. I came across this hidden gem in St. George, Western Queensland—an Art Deco treasure standing quietly amidst the wide, open spaces of the outback.
Set against an eerie sky and framed by the haunting stillness so often found in rural Australia, the building evokes a strong sense of nostalgia.
